As for ne4o-f two you linked too, the first is for the Realtek onboard audio and you can get a Windows 7 driver for it directly from Realtek, Realtek The second one is a CPU driver that isn’t needed for Windows 7 as it already has it built in.

Switch back to “Speakers” for all Windows based sounds, video games, etc. I’m not using any front panel audio headers.
You should notice the other option here being Realtek Digital Output. Use up-to-date drivers or motherboard provided drivers?

Win 7 Ultimate x Did you right click your sound icon from the bottom right of your desktop and choose “Playback Devices” then “Set as Default Device” the “Speakers” option? Drivers I need motherboard drivers! I’ve verified that the jumpers are set correctly for the analogue outputs to work.
